The TrailRest is CascadeGear's go-everywhere hammock — equally at home strung between pines at a weekend campsite or packed into a daypack for a trail lunch break. Sewn from 70D high-tenacity ripstop nylon with triple-stitched stress points, it supports up to 400 lbs while staying under 1.2 lbs on the scale.
The continuous whoopie sling suspension system (included) adjusts in seconds without knots and applies zero bark damage — making it both easier to use and more campsite-friendly than traditional strap-and-carabiner setups. Two aluminum carabiners and a compression stuff sack round out the kit.
At 11 ft long by 5.5 ft wide, there's enough material to sleep diagonally and actually flatten out — eliminating the curved-spine issue that makes cheap hammocks uncomfortable for extended use.
